There are only a few places in Quezon City that I know off that I can consider a place that could instantly bring me to somewhere else, places that I can feel like I was being teleported to another dimension. I did not mean it literally but I guess it was the feeling plus its unique ambiance made me feel like I already left the city.
One good example is whenever I visit Ninoy Aquino Park near Quezon City Circle. It is like a hidden jungle inside the city. Even it is located across the busy streets of North and Quezon Avenue, its vast areas populated with trees and animals covers up the bustling sound of the city.
Another place I love visiting is Cubao Expo in Araneta Center. The long line up of vintage stores, playing old school soundtrack coupled with the whole vibe of the place, gives me this feeling of the yesteryears.
And just recently, I found a new place that made me feel like I am in another country, aside that I’m seeing more Koreans than Filipinos, the ambiance of the place made me feel like I am far away from home.

The Cirque Serviced Residences
I’ve heard and known Circulo Verde for a long time already, but I did not really know (not until I was told recently) that inside this huge 10-hectare mixed-used community houses a hotel. Well basically, The Cirque Serviced Residences is housed in the different residential towers in Circulo Verde. So it is like booking a room at one of the residential towers.
I’ve known a few unit owners that converted their units and made it available over AirBNB, this somehow relates on how The Cirque operates. With the ever-evolving nature of the real estate industry, developer Ortigas & company launched The Cirque in Circulo Verde, which is its entry in the serviced residences business.
This means that unit owners can invest and make their unit available for rental occupancy managed by the developer’s partner, Hospitality Innovators, Inc. (HII).
When my blogger friends and I visited, we were booked at the 17-storey residential tower called Seville tower. I am not sure if it is intentionally made like that but what I am sure about is that only certain floors of the towers can be rented as a usual room hotel.

The Cirque Rooms
I never really expected too much about the place but it basically wowed me when we entered our room. Our room can spaciously house a family of 5, with complete amenities; a living room, kitchen, dining area, two separate rooms, plus a laundry area as well. In my mind, this can really be a nice place to stay especially for those foreigners staying for a longer period. Each Norwegian designed rooms also have an Eco-Carat tiles that can transform the air quality so that it becomes as clean as breathable as that of a park.
One could choose 3 different room types; Bedroom Flat (51 sqm) with Twin bed, Bedroom Loft (64) with Queen Size bed, and Bedroom Suite (69 sqm) with Queen or twin size beds.

The Circulo Verde Community
Once you are in, you wouldn’t even think of going out. Why would you bother your self to go out and eat, if you could already do that inside the community? Would you be willing to brave the horrible traffic just to go to the bank? Would you need to travel for more than an hour just to do a night out with friends? Well, all of this problems have been solve inside Circulo Verde.
This community offers a wide range of facilities from recreation to basic needs. Aside from having the usual swimming pool and gym area, Circulo Verde also offers Industria Mall that houses everything you might needed.
A traditional Filipino breakfast from your neighborhood bakeshop, or some indulgent meals from your fast food favorite? They got you covered. On top of these are other dining spots that will surely whet your appetite such as McDonald’s, Kambal Pandesal, Chef & Brewer, Chill Top, Infinitea, etc.
Industria Mall also got a place for your pets, a co-working space if you need to get back to business, and other points of interest that might be of help to you such as The Launch Garage, Dog Spa & Hotel, The Washery Laundromat + Café, etc.
For those who love to do different activities, just a walk away from the Mall, you’ll see the bike park where kids and adult alike may leisurely ride around. Circulo Verde also provided a jogging path for those who love to do a morning cardio, a basketball court, as well as small park are for your pets.

The RC Pit Stop, the first site for the first ever-Manila Game of Drones, can also be seen inside the community. Here RC enthusiasts and hobbyists can gather for a display of tech flight and fun.
Was it worth it?
A big yes! A quick overnight stay at The Cirque Services Residences felt like I’m transported to another country. The community got this perfect balance of modernity, stillness and eco-green living. Isn’t that what we sometimes look for? A relax and quiet stay, in a place where almost everything you need is in place. This can definitely make one stay longer, and more often.
