Affinity Dental Clinic opens its biggest clinic located in Makati City

Doc: Okay, will let it pass…
This was the parting conversation I had when I visited Affinity Dental Clinic a few weeks ago. As to what I was told, drinking coffee may not be a big sin (when it comes to dental care) but if proper steps weren’t taken, can cause permanent, yellowing stain on our teeth. We do not want that to happen, right? Thus a regular dental visit should always be in placed. Like trice or twice a year would be fine.
But what are the steps you should take to at least limit the stains on our favorite coffee, tea or soda drink? Here are the things that you can do.
- Drink water as soon as you finish your coffee
- Or you can Rinse or brush immediately after.
- Did you know that drinking with a straw can also help keep stains away when you drink soda, juice, or iced coffee or tea
- Floss, and rinse with an antibacterial mouthwash…
- Lastly, get your teeth professionally cleaned…
I usually do one of those things right after. I also decided to placed a visit at Affinity Dental Clinic recently.

It wasn’t my first time visiting a dental clinic, but it was definitely a first time for me to see a dental clinic so huge It felt like I’m entering a hotel lobby.
Affinity Dental Clinics Makati is a state-of-the-art center located at the heart of the Central Business District of the Philippines. Makati Branch is equipped with the latest state of the art Panoramic, Cephalometric and Periapical x-rays that provide sharp and clear images for accurate diagnosis. The use of it also minimizes the patients exposure to radiation compared to the traditional and conventional dental x-rays.
Affinity Dental Clinics Makati has 5 private and spacious treatment suites, Peri-aptical, an under the sea themed kiddie room, a sterile and state of the art Operating Room for surgeries and dental implants, a fully digital dental laboratory where they can make there own Zirconia Crowns and Bridges, a conference room, a VIP and recovery room as well as a huge lounge where you can just chill while waiting.
The clinics got this modern design with elements in warm and inviting tones that create a calming environment. It actually made me feel like I was relaxing in my own living room.
Services they offer are vast from the basic treatment to more complex procedures such as Oral Surgery, Dental Implants, Orthodontic Braces, and Retainers, TMJ treatment, Cosmetic Dental Treatments, Root Canal Therapy in one location.
On my first visit I was able to try one of their services.
My first Affinity Dental Clinic Visit
Before visiting the clinic, I first made sure that I got my scheduled confirmed. It was 1 in the afternoon and I came all the way from Quezon City just to visit the clinic. I wasn’t complaining, after all its dental health we are talking about.
On my arrival, I went straight at the reception area and told about my booked schedule. While walk-ins are accepted, Affinity Dental Clinics prefers to book via prior appointment. I was told that they try to avoid making patients wait and want to devote their full time and attention to every patient they are treating. Being in the middle of Makati, gave me that thought that their target market are mostly the businessmen, employees and ex-pats around the vicinity. Most probably, afternoon and evening slots would be the busy schedules.
After waiting for a few minutes, I was introduce to Dr. Marri Frenchizka L. Untivero and was assisted at one of the dental rooms.
It has been a long time since my last dental clinic visit; hence I am expecting that it would be a bit of job for the doctor to tend on my teeth. I also do believe and thankful that I do not have many problems with the set of teeth I have except for the two molars I’ve lost as I grew up.
The Dr. Marri suggested that I should act on to it by having tooth implants. She also explained that having Veneers could be the perfect way to enhance my teeth. But I wasn’t asked to do this immediately. Of course proper research should be done first to really understand what was going to happen once I availed the services she was referring to. I actually like that idea that the decision wasn’t really force on me, which could be a good point for this clinic.
I was also told that I got stains in my teeth that are cause by drinking coffee. Good thing she didn’t really told me to stop drinking coffee, cause if she did I would probably keep on drinking lol!
After the session, I was told to come back again for a cleaning session after a few months. Probably, I would come back to try the Veneers services. Will see.
