It wasn’t too long ago when I first had my large wound in both elbows and knees. That was when I was still practicing and learning how to skate. Though I’m still a newbie and still had a lot to learn, I still can remember how epic that crash is when I tried doing skate in an open downhill side of the road. But that situation didn’t hinder me to do other stuff and skate again (thou I did lay low for a while) but rather made me more careful in doing so. As they say, you would never know how to do it unless you try it, so maybe I am expecting more scratches and wounds in the future specially if I would want to try to level up my skills in that area.
I was supposed to bring my skateboard (Read: Chaser Skateboards) at the recent Dew Nation HQ Adrenaline park event which was held at Block 57, 25th corner 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City. I was hopeful that I could practice more specially in a ramp, but was actually thankful that I didn’t brought it there. Because for sure I will be too shy to practice in front of that crowd.
The first ever adrenaline park called Dew Nation HQ Adrenaline park is a setup brought to us by the soda drink Mountain Dew. It opened last Friday (July 14, 2017) and ended up Sunday (July 16, 2017). It was a free access to adrenaline junkie and individuals who wanted to learn how to do basic BMX, Skateboard tricks or even ride a 4×4 ATV. Access is for free and you can even get prizes if you won some challenges. There are also some booths where you can do VR games, arcade and even chill and have some refreshing drink from Mountain Dew.
I had fun specially in the VR section for it was the first time I had tried it. I was also itching to try the BMX but fail to even do some serious moves. Check out these photos I took at the park.
