This is what I called a money-maker view! Why I said so? Well for one, if your living in Metro Manila, you wouldn’t find any place nearer than going to Antipolo to have this amazing Ortigas Skyline. Two, people would definitely pay for a chance for them to dine in and relax while viewing this amazing sight. Do you agree? Well if I personally got a property with this amazing view, I would definitely make it for a living. But guess what, this venue was just a residential place owned by the Lopez’s before.
An hour away from Manila you’ll find this events place/resort called The Eugenio Lopez Center (ELC). It was initially an unfinished retirement home of Don Eugenio Lopez that was built way back in the 60’s and now was developed to be one of the best places in Antipolo to hold your dream weddings, events, team building or just relax and have that getaway with your love ones or family. Before it opened to the public, ELC hosted events for corporations under the Lopez Group of Companies.
The 10-hectare property is decently placed on a very accessible location and because it is at the top of a hill, hosting a party for 200-250 people would definitely something very memorable. Specially if you’ll placed it on their 180 degree view overlooking the skyline of Quezon City, Ortigas, Makati, and Taguig.
ELC also offers catering services so do not worry, everything can be handled.
The building also houses 38 rooms where guests can choose to stay overnight. The De Luxe room costs Php 4,400 and can fit 2 people, the Executive Room costs Php 5,500 per night while the Premier Suite, which is the largest costs Php 8,500. This can fit 5 people if needed and got a connecting door to another De Luxe room which you can book separately.
Other amenities includes 3 lecture rooms, mini theatre which is perfect for small screenings and Meeting Rooms which you can use for more private conversations. Most of this are a must specially for corporations or companies who are doing business in between pleasure.
But aside from the majestic view, another part of the place that I love the most was the pool. It’s one of the best place to relax in ELC specially after doing a long day activity in a team building event.
They also got a Gym and Activity Area, a Spa, Massage Room, Sauna and Steam Room. And oh, did I mention that you can also park your helicopter at the helipad here.
Eugenio Lopez Center is definitely a place you can put on your options when deciding to hold team buildings, event or even just some random getaway. For aside from its accessibility, the property got a lot to offer and who knows in a few months, there could be more establishments and amenities this place could offer.
