A few kilometers away from the People’s Park, you’ll find one of the newest museum in Davao City – D’Bone Collector Museum Inc..
That huge bones on my head are from a huge whale
I was amaze from this one of a kind museum for not just showcasing over 2700 specimens but also having a story to tell in every bone. Concentrating on the beauty and frailness of life, this 700 sq. meter 3-story tall museum, displays thousands of bones and fossils from all over the world. The tour guides also explain why these animals died and what can be done to save them. One of the most interesting bone collection display was a human bone donated at the museum.
For a price of Php 80 for Adults, and Php 70 for children, one can enjoy already a guided tour. D’Bone Collector Museum Inc. is located at Brgy. 76-A Trading Boulevard Bucana St., Davao City, Philippines.
We also got to meet Darell D. Blachley, the owner of the museum who started his interest in bones at the early age of 12.
