Growing up, I never really understand the intrigued about men and watches not until I was living it already. Wearing one now became a status, like a car to its owner. Picking became too meticulously done that sometimes even a background check is needed. And if ladies took time picking their shoes, men do too to their watches. Well I guess that’s the reason why when I visited the recent Henry London launch, undecided on which one to get, I came in first and finishes almost last.
Recently, a new addition to the wide array of watches has reached the Philippines. Introducing, The Henry London Watch Collection, merging History and modernity in a classic timepieces.

The Henry London Watch Collections are aptly named after the iconic locations in London, playing the brand’s British origin. It epitomizes the constant reinvention of one of the world’s most exciting cities, taking something timeless and iconic and re-inventing it for the 21st century. The launch of HIGHGATE Collection was inspired by the very first watch from the 1965 era that was bought in 2014 in a market stall in Notting Hill. This particular watch gave birth to Henry London. The resemblance in the design exemplifies the origin and heritage of the brand.

Keeping the integrity of the original design while adding contemporary detailing, an arresting colour palette and a choice of leather straps in heritage hues or Milanese mesh bracelets created a perfect finishing touch to a tailored look.

Making a Henry London More Special (Engraving)
To make it more special, Henry London Philippines gives us the opportunity to personalize our chosen watch with a unique engraving. I decided to pick one for me and one to be given to my mom. I chose the Knightsbridge in steel blue color and at the back I decided to engrave my nickname and my website. The customize engraving could also be initials, memorable dates or could be a private message, mark the occasion with a bespoke engraving.
For mom, I decided to pick a Westminster in Yellow Gold. I decided to not put an engrave at the back and let her customize it for herself.
