For the record, I think this was the day where the experience the most number of events I have covered! A very busy day indeed that I only got a few minutes to spare to travel in between events. It was November 26, a Thursday, and I don’t know why most of the PR people scheduled their event on this day. Nevertheless, I survived! Here’s a run-through of what had happen on that day.

My day started with a treat from McDonalds as they offer us their newest items available this holiday season. It’s going to be “hooray for today” for the fans of this fast-food chain, as you tasted the new dessert line up and breakfast meal. Here’s what they are introducing;

Trend Beyond Colours 2016/17 – Nippon Paint
From Quezon City, I flew to Shangri-la Makati where two events are being held, one of it was Nippon Paint that launches new color palettes for 2016-17. It’s the 2nd “Trend Beyond Colours” and this time nine key color palettes featured across three inspirational palettes: “We are One”, “New Eco” and “Wonder-Lust.” These nine colours are forecasted to drive utilization across various industries and applications in 2016 and 2017.
Here are the new colours;
“We are One” features modern colours reminding how new age technology and social media are constantly affecting our lives and keeping us connected wherever we are.

In the other room, Epy Quizon was already being interviewed by the press when I came in the room. He was talking about his memories of his dad, Dolphy, and on how COPD has taken their dad’s life. The event was all about reminiscing and the importance of taking care of your parents while they are still around.

Globe Go WiFi
Both Earth and I went straight to the Globe Go WiFi event in Chelsea at Serendra, BGC. It was a photography class led by the famous photographer Jo Avila who shared some tips about food photography. Globe Telecom also let us experience the fast WiFi connection in the events place. Coined as “Life Amplified: Digital Lifestyle Series” this event let us enjoyed Globe Telecoms WiFi Speed of up to 100mbps. You to can experience the fast connection because Globe partnered with 17 restaurants in Serendra where you can connect and enjoy the WiFi Speed for free.
At the event we were group into 7 teams and I was part of Team 4 with Yen and Ralph. We were so competitive; everyone in the group was eager to win the best food photography shot and best BTS video. Here’s our entry, which I shot and edit using my ASUS ZenFone Laser (review).

Skechers Go Run Ultra R
After the heavy dinner at Chelsea, time now to loosen up and burn the entire calorie intake. Just a few minutes away from Serendra is the venue for my next event.
Sketchers collaborated with Milo for us to experience and test the new Sketchers Go Run Ultra R. It was an intense exercise routine led by the fitness couple Toni and Jim Caret. I got back injury on that time but still … will tell the full story in another blog. But definitely this one is an achievement! Btw., thanks Joseph!

RTL-CBS Thanksgiving Party
After the tiring day, it’s time to settle down and have an easy event. Ruth and I went straight to Revel Bar in Taguig City to attend the RTL-CBS Media Thanksgiving Party. It was there way of thanking all the media supporters through out the year. Earth, John, and Ruth won in the Raffle. The major prizes includes a trip to the US. I was hoping to win the 50 inches TV but unfortunately I didn’t win any. But anyhow, it was an enjoyable time and a perfect thing to cap the night. Thanks M2Comms for the invite!
Went home bringing in some happy problem (backlogs and loots). Till the next one!
