Calatagan, Batanggas: Summer for me is one of the most exciting seasons of the year! Not just because it’s vacation month but because it’s the best season to have fun and have a memorable experience under the sun! And finding a place to go to wouldn’t need to be far. Aquaria Beach Resort located within the Playa Calatagan Residences at Calatagan, Batangas could be the perfect spot for you.
Along with blogger friends, I got a chance to experience the site in a day. Just a two hour drive away from Manila, the water park with 525-meter of fine beach can offer lots of amenities to every visitors.
We arrive at the venue around 10-ish and did a short tour around the place. Right after, we headed straight to the Cabanas located just in front of the beach. It was a great sight and I’m already excited to start the fun filled activities in the place.
Sands Restaurant at Aquaria Beach Resorts
After settling down, we were accommodated at the resort’s restaurant called The Sands. The Sands offers local cuisine with freshly-catch seafoods in ala-cart or buffet style for small and bigger groups. (Budget Per Head Php 150-300)
If you decided to bring food instead and do a different kind of picnic at the beach, you may do so with a corkage fee of P100 / adult and P50/child.
Beach Activities and Amenities
The serene and calm beachfront seems to be perfect for relaxing. If given enough time I would just wanted to sit, watch the sea and wait for the sunset.
Aquaria Beach Resort also offers different water sports like Kayak, Banana Boat and Jetski. You can also do snorkeling just like what Azrael (Azraelmerryland.com) did. The sea is just rich with sea creatures even if you snorkel near the shore.
For an ultimate relaxing experience you can also try a massage and be pampered at one of the their cabanas near the shore.
If you opted to do the water activities, why not just play at the wide fine sands of Aquaria Beach Resort. Soccer and Volleyball courts are available at the area.
Time to play! ⚽️ #soccer #aquaria @aquariabeachresort #NOGNOGINTHECITY GOOD MORNING!!!

The pool has different water levels with 6 feet as the deepest. The colors blue, green and yellow makes the place even more fun to stay with.
The main attraction of the Aquaria’s pool area is the giant 40-feet waterslide. Just watch the video and see how much fun we had sliding.
