Philippine Stars gathered at Solaire Resort and Casino grand Ballroom last November 23, 2014 to attend and to witness one of the grandest award giving body in the Philippines – The Philippine Movie Press Club 28th Star Awards for Television. (PMPC Star Awards for TV).
KathNiel Tandem, teen stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo received the first ever German Moreno Power Tandem of the Year, while veteran actress Nova Villa receive the Ading Fernando Lifetime Achievement Award. GMA 7 broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for Broadcasting while Buble Gang was given a Hall of Famer Award.
ABS-CBN’s “Ikaw Lamang” was the big winner for winning the major awards. Lead stars Coco Martin wins Best Drama Actor, Kim Chui for Best Drama Actress, KC Concepcion Best Drama Supporting Actress and John Estrada won the Best Drama Supporting Actor.
Nadine Lustre and Iñigo Pascual was awarded Female and Male Star of the Night respectively.
ABS-CBN won the Best TV Station Award. PMPC Star Awards for TV is hosted by Piolo Pascual, Iza Calzado, Kim Chiu and Enchong Dee.
