Design meets good food! As Akira opens up its newest franchise store located at Alphaland Makati Place, Malugay St. corner Ayala Avenue Extension, Makati City. The 3rd Akira AMP is the first restaurant conceptualized by World Renowned Industrial Designer Kenneth Cobonpue. It’s collaboration with Gilbert Go, owner and President of Golden PotBelly Pig Corporation who took the Akira Franchise.
Mr. Ricky Laudico (Owner of Akira AMP)Elegantly designed, AKIRA AMP shows an outdoor Japanese setting in indoor vicinity. The inspiration came from the Fall Season of Japan were the leaves are just blown by the wind. Another highlight of the restaurant was the chairs; the red chair is called Yoda chairs while the regular chairs are called Kawayan Too Chairs.
According to Akira’s Marketing Director Mr. Miguel Dela Rosa, “We want to target Japanese Market. We want Akira Alphaland Makati Place to be the newest dining destination in Makati City.”
With Mr. Miguel Dela Rosa (Marketing Director)With an estimated budget of 500 to 800 pesos per head, one can enjoy the authentic Japanese cooking in a modern twist of lounge ambiance and simple interior. Coupled with hi-caliber Teppanyaki Chef, Chef Lucky Salcedo and Head Chef Tom who had 20 years culinary experience in Japan.
One of my favourite, California Maki Highly recommended mocktails for non-drinkers like me called the Fruit SafariAkira Alphaland core products include Sushi and Teppanyaki Dishes. Currently, they are having thematic DJ nights called Yamazaki Friday and Hakushu Saturday that will last up to 3months from their official opening date.
Akira Alphaland also offers reservations for corporate lunches and events. They can also customized menu from the client’s budget.
